from the Chungshan District in mainland China.  Without public support, we will

We are descendants of the original founders, we represent or attempt to
represent Hawaii's entire Chinatown community and Hawaii's local Chinese
heritage.  Our short name (established in 1996) is, therefore, and most
appropriately, Chinatown Hawaii 
(http://chinatownhawaii.com).  We have not taken the domain of
chinatownhawaii.org and have intentionally left that for Honolulu City and
County's use as an informational site on Chinatown [Chinatown Hawaii is our
trade name, US Trade Name application pending].

We are an information site about the Chinese heritage and culture in the State
of Hawaii and directory listing of businesses and shops in the Chinatown
district in Hawaii.

In the past, our heritage was and has been the moving force behind Hawaii's 
Chinese community and culture in the State of Hawaii.
